This form is required to ensure investors pay the appropriate U.S income tax with respect to their investment income. It also helps establish proper reporting to the U.S government.

W-8BEN Forms:

　　A Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding form (W-8BEN) is used to establish that you are not a U.S. person and that you are the beneficial owner of the amount subject to withholding tax. A completed W-8 form ensures that OANDA does not have to withhold tax for interest earned on your FXTrade account balance.

我也在OANDA开的户   是在网上直接开户的   现在发现的问题是当时OANDA没有要求我填写w-8ben的表

但是我发现很多其他美国的外汇公司都要求填写这个表   这个表是关于非美国人盈利免税的

我现在没有这个表  不知道是不是要增加31% 的税

何必呢

可是w-8ben怎么填啊   哪位知道的帮忙告诉一下啊
