Dear Mr. Huang,
Thank you for your inquiry below. Please allow me to explain the "Cross Conversion Adjustment" you see on your account. The MT4 platform allows you to open trades and close particular trades in the order that you like, based on current Profit or Loss. For actual accounting purposes, the Desktop calculates Profit and Loss based on FIFO accounting, or First In-First Out, which may not match with what the MT4 platform is displaying. These adjustments are made periodically to correct the balances displayed in the MT4 platform, but can only be made when your account is not holding trades through rollover. If your account is unable to be adjusted for a long time due to holding trades through the rollover period, the MT4 displayed balance and your true account balance (displayed in the Desktop platform) can be off by a substantial margin, as sounds like was the case with your account. There are no "mistakes" on the side of MB Trading, it is just a quirk of how the MT4 platform accounts for Profit and Loss.
For further information please see the information on our website: http://www.mbtrading.com/metatrader4.aspx

Sirs,
There are several evident errors in my order history records of the
last month, and the errors lead to a "cross adjustment" of $-854 in my
accout. Chris Mercer ,the man I contacted said it is caused by
mismatching of MT4 and Desktop. But in this instance, I was unable to
avoid, prevent or even discover the mistake of platform. So I can't
accept such "adjustment" . I want my money back.

Just to be clear...what I'm saying is that you had an order FILL (Desktop
showed it), but MT4 did not show it. If it happened in Desktop, it is a real
fill. I think that is what is causing the issue, but again, I have to leave
it to Accounting to look into it. The person who I spoke to yesterday that
went through the details from 5/2 through 5/6 manually said that the Desktop
side showed everything correctly from a FIFO accounting perspective. It was
handed up to someone above her (not sure if they can get to it today or not,
but they will get back to me when they do).
However, the bottom line is that whatever you see in Desktop/website is what
happened, even if MT4 did something wrong. That would mean that the number
stands. I've never seen an error on that side, but I guess anything can
happen, so we will see.

Mr. Mercer,
I agree with you that the order was partially filled on MT4 :
26000
And it involved many order records followed.
But I think it cant explain all the balance difference.
Could you give me a thorough account result?

I don't think I will have the full details of the answer until tomorrow.
However, from what am I being told, you had an order that filled in
Desktop but MT4 only displayed a partial fill. The details of it are here:
2011.05.04 10:55:43 60.179.248.230 '17487224': delete order #1857024,
buy limit 10.00 EURUSD at 1.48658
This threw off FIFO accounting on your account until you were truly
flat again, which was the next day. The problem was the MT4 was
showing an incorrect balance since that time since they fixed the
trade problem later that day.

First of all, I'm not a customer service rep that can pull up your
statements. You came to me because you had a question about how the
cross conversion adjustments work. If you have an issue that you'd
like to raise from an accounting perspective, you should call into
our main support line or use our on-line chat to get a customer
service rep directly to deal with a specific trade. If there is a
problem, they
will certainly be able to fix.
My understanding was that you were trying to get used to where to go
to see FIFO accounting and how you should be monitoring these
accounts, and I'm happy to help with that. I can't help with specific
trades, that's for support. However, I have passed the information
along to someone in accounting to take a look, and they will
determine if there was an issue and get back to me and I will get back to
you.

Mr.Mercer,
I check the trading order report and statement balance . But I
find It's difficult to read these documents.
In the attached file is a compare between two reports. Why the
same trading has different results?

You can go through it all to compare your trading and get final

Mr.Mercer,
I depend on daily report to check my account. If it was not
correct and need "adjustment",it would be dispensable at all.
AS to swaps, average commissions, or FIFO accounting you
mentioned, I doubt how can these reach the amount of $850. Can
you make a instance to explain for me?

No, anything you get out of MT4 is not correct for Swaps,

Mr.Mercer,
I get balance report every trading day . Dose these report
not come from real balance figures? Then which is the
purpose of such
reports?
I had been using MBT Desktop Pro too,but did't ever notice
there was such a gap of $850 in balance between platforms.
So I won't satisfied if MBTF can't supply enough material data.

Question #25.
Because your account had not been flat for a while at
rollover that we noticed, there had not been an adjustment for a
while.
We suggest that you run MBT Desktop or MBT Desktop Pro at the
same time as MT4 so you can see the true accounting (FIFO
with correct swaps and
rounding) on your
account.
